TERRATEC GRABSTER AV400 IS NOT RECOGNISED BY SOFTWARE

I HAVE TOSHIBA P500. The Grabster is an interface from say a video recorder or camera, to USB port. Software is installed. Device is recognised by the machine. Drivers all OK according to Set Up. Nevertheless when going to Analog input the message is "Failed to connect to driver:Grabster AV400 Analog Capture".The built in USB2.0 UVC Web Cam gives a picture  and this can be stored in a file.

So the external input fails.???

    Hi Tim,

    a. When was it last working fine?

    b. Are you able to use UVC Web Cam on your computer without any issues?

    We don’t have any information about Terratec Grabster AV400’s compatibility with windows 7. I would suggest you to contact its manufacturer and check its compatibility with windows 7.

    You may try installing the drivers for it in windows vista compatibility mode and check if this helps.
