Hi mjmilinkaitis,
What happens if you right click the orange speaker icon?
The Realtek Audio Manager is supplied by Realtek. Your motherboard may have an on-board sound built into it because of which you have the Realtek audio manager installed on your computer.
You can always look in the device manager and see what sound cards and devices you have the option of using -
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click System and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic View, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow. 3. Now expand the option of sound, video and game controllers. Here you will get the details of the devices installed.
Check if you have any exclamation or cross marks with the devices listed. As this identifies an issue with the installed driver. 4. You may right click the device and click properties. Under the driver tab you will get options to update and install/uninstall the drivers if required.
You may also refer to the below mentioned link for further assistance in updating the drivers:

Hope this helps. Let us know the results.
