Your printer is quite old and does not have any drivers available from the Lexmark site. The Microsoft compatibility site says that it is compatible and will install without further software. This means that when you plug your printer in it will try to find a driver automatically for you.

The driver you get from the above method will only do the basics - there will be no fancy stuff available.

If the above fails, download the XP drivers from the Lexmark site, then right-click on the file and select Troubleshoot Compatibility.

If that fails, it time for a new printer.

The Microsoft compatibility site says that it is compatible and will install without further software.

I would be very keen if you could post a link to this information. This is the link to the Z33 Windows 7 32/64 bit compatibility site that I found:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Lexmark%20Z33%20Inkjet%20Printer&v=Lexmark&uid=14D0289&l=en-US&pf=0&pi=1&s=z33&os=64-bit

It states that the manufacturer says it is incompatible, and there are no Vista or Win7 drivers.

How on earth could you install WinXP drivers on Win7 (non-professional) and think they would work?!
