csp4361 - Thanks, your answer worked for me.  Recently reloaded an old client laptop and this was the only device Windows 7 didn't recognize natively.  Thanks for posting and saving me the time.  02Micro driver did the trick for the missing Mass Storage Controller device.

Hi,  I had the same problem installing Win 7 Ultimate.  In my case, the missing driver was for the Memory Card Reader and the Dell Driver was located under the Chipset Tab and named 02Micro.

This same tab has the Intel Chipset driver which is also required and as I had already installed this, I mistakenly thought the O2Micro chipset driver was for some other type of configuration.  As it turned out, both drivers were required.

    Good luck.

    Hi Saeed Harandi,

    a. May I know what exactly you are trying to do?

    b. For which storage device you are trying to update drivers?

    c. Did you run upgrade advisor before upgrading to windows 7?

Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor scans your hardware, devices, and installed programs for known compatibility issues, gives you guidance on how to resolve potential issues found, and recommends what to do before you upgrade.

    http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/windows-7/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx

    Regards,
