Can you help me with simple instructions to get a driver on my system for the Chill Mat.  I have Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 Home Premium 32.

I have to leave the house for a several hours, I would appreciate any help.  I am such a novice, did not even check compatibility when I purchased it.  My husband says I know just enough to tear them up and he is about correct.  Help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Welcome to Windows Vista answers community.

I have searched for the drivers on the internet and from the information that I have gathered you don’t require driver’s for Chill mat to work. Once you plug in the USB cord from the Chill mat it should power up the Chill mat and start the fans on with the separate on/off switch.

I would also suggest you contact manufacturers as well if the hardware is not functioning.

Let us know how this helps.

Thank you for your response.  The matt does not start when plugged into the USB port and there is no on and off switch on the matt.  I have been in touch since January 1010 several times.  I have been told to contact Microsoft since that is the softwear I use, and again to get in touch with Sony support.  None have helped, everyone passed the buck,.  Looks like I am better off sending it back to the store where the purchase was made.  It could be that it is a defective product, if it is, it is the second one I have purchased.

Thanks, I have been talking with Targus since 01/2010, they have told me  to use Microsoft support, which I did, and Microsoft support told they could not help me, it is a computer manufacturing question.  I have contacted Sony and I am back to Targus.  Yes, I did think it was plug in the USB and the matt, and it would work, not true.  It has not worked no matter what I have tried.  I am going to send it back to Office Depot, and request a refund.  Could be the darn thing just does not work.
