Why is my monitor having a green tint to it. How can I fix it?

    Hi Elidapoca,

    How old is your monitor?

    Did you try using a different VGA cable to check if that works?

    Have you hooked up another monitor to different cables to see if the same problem exists. If that works then you deffinatly have a bad vga port on your computer.

    Also, check if there is a setting called Color Temperature.

    What’s the model and make of your Monitor?

    Go through your monitor installation guide and check if you’ve any settings on it.

    I would also suggest you to contact your computer manufacturer.

    Hey,

    this problem tends to occur a lot if your VGA cable is not properly screwed in to the monitor or the Computer.

    So just check if that's the problem, as where I work, that is often the case.

    I found the problem , the monitor cable was lose , I tightened it and that fixed the problem , no more ugly green
