Is there a way to get to Windows Installer and take Roxio Media Manager off of whatever list Windows Installer is using to try to install it?
Thanks.

Hi,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
The Windows Installer CleanUp utility deletes all files and registry settings associated with a program's Windows Installer configuration.
Does NOT remove an application, allows you to re-install one.

You could also complete the install and then use Revo to completely remove it.

hey, i have the same issue, but what these guys who are all over themselves, about using the add/remove program option aren't realising is that roxio media manager IS NOT IN THE ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM LISTING!!! it just runs and as you click cancel it just KEEPS coming back, clean up utility is the same samn thing as going to your system tools folder:P wake up people.. and obviously we can't ocmplete an "install" cause the damn thing errors out and restarts and it's a never ending process! i have rooted the majority of the program off my computer, i used malwarebytes to kill the leresourceloader.dll so i could delete the 9.0 folder.. but it's still doing it.. so far, no solutions... this is the 100th forum/site i've been on, everybody says that they try to re-download it and install it but it doesn't work. so.. i'm thinking directory issue? hopefully somebopdy out there KNOWS what to do and doesn't just throw some retard suggestion like "clean up utilities" ...

Curious, have you even tried using the utility? Reason being, I have the same exact issue and the utility took care of it. It found the entries affiliated to the Roxio Media Manager within the registry and corrected it.
Regardless, I wish you the best of luck in your search for your solution.
Have you looked at AutoRuns as a way of seeing what is causing this Roxio Media Manager to keep wanting to run?

Maybe this "Roxo Media Manager" (or is it Roxio Mobile Media Manager) is installed with, or by, other software that you might have to look at to stop Roxio Media Manager from running?
