    has anyone gotten an answer to this.  The bulletin says to uninstall but when I look on ADD/REMOVE Programs it is not listed but when I try to install it tells me an older program is installed and I need to uninstall ... WHERE CAN I UNINSTALL???

    1.  It's usually better to ask your own new question rather than tagging onto a thread that's 3 1/2 years old.

    2.  It's usually better to ask questions about Word in the correct Word forum.  For Word 2007 running on Windows XP, that would be here -->  http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2007-word-os_device_winxp?sort=lastreplydate&dir=desc&tab=Threads&status=all&mod=&modAge=&advFil=&postedAfter=&postedBefore=&threadType=Questions&tm=1391476217966

    Before following the advice above, the following may help:

    1. Download this  --> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9943
    2. Follow steps 1 - 4 under "To remove this download" (obviously, don't delete the file you just downloaded)
    3. Follow steps 1 - 3 under "To install this download"

    There is an alternate download to permit saving as PDF or XPS.  When you're uninstalling, if you can't find "Microsoft Save as PDF Add-in for 2007 Microsoft Office programs" in the list of installed programs, you might instead find "Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS Add-in for 2007 Microsoft Office programs."

    Has this ever worked and when do you think it stopped working?

    What bulletin are you reading that says to uninstall and what does it say to uninstall, what is not listed and what are you trying to install?

    Does this look like your problem?
