Restore "Show Desktop" shortcut on the left side of Taskbar (Windows XP)

The "Show Desktop" shortcut on the left side of my Taskbar has disappeared. I cannot find a way to restore it. (Running Windows XP).

Please help me restore this convenient feature.(I could not find any search in MS's web site that was helpful.)
