What is resource monitor?

I read in some forum article about resource monitor, but there was no explaination. So I thought Microsoft guys could throw some light on it.

Hi Bennettcole,

Adding to Andre.Ziegler’s post,

Resource Monitor is a tool that you can use to monitor the usage of CPU, hard disk, network, and memory in real time.

You can use the Performance tab in Task Manager to see how your computer's CPU is being used by Windows and other programs running on your computer.

Open the TaskManager and go to the performance tab and there you can find a link to the resource monitor. The resource monitor is an advanced Task Manager.
