I want to know if Windows 7 Professional is 32 or 64 bit system. I want to buy some software that only works with 64 bits.  I just bought new computer with Windows 7 premium, and upgraded to Windows & Professional.

It is either. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions exist. You could have

    either.

The same is true of Home Premium. It comes with either. Both 32-bit

    and 64-bit versions exist.

To find out whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit, hold down the Windows

key and press Pause|Break. It will tell you there which you have.

    Hi,

Windows 7 comes in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

These methods all allow you to discover which version you have.

Start - type in Search box -> Winver     find at top and double click on - it will say if 64 bit.

Start - type in Search box -> System Information     find at top - double click on.

    Control Panel - System

    Hope this helps.
