I need to know how to enable bluetooth on windows 7 ulitmate. When i open the control panel and type in "bluetooth" nothing comes up  even though it should come up with options for it. Yes i check my computer and I have WIDCOMM Bluetooth software installedon it. But i cannot acess bluetooth options anywhere, i deleted the system tray icon so i can't see it there either. What should i do to enable my bluetooth then?

Open your Device Manager and find the Bluetooth device. It may be marked with a yellow warning triangle if a driver is not installed. Right click on the device, and select 'Update Driver Software'. This should find and install the driver for you.

It should also be noted that several laptops "offer" a method of turning on / off the Bluetooth device (aka radio.) either in the BIOS or via a "button."  The Bluetooth device must be active before the Windows Device Manager can find it.

As usual with Microsoft the advice is hopeless, why oh why cant these systems such as bluetooth simply be be installed and activated simply. First i have windows 7 and and there is absolutely nothing about bluetooth. You try the help page , hopeless type in search look for bluetooth nothing appears. The day Microsoft goes down will be a great day for computer users all over the world, i am sick to death of their over complicated advice, you'd think everybody new about computers which they don't...oh and try to complain to Microsoft what do you get NOTHING, no even a complaint page on the web.

And as if to add insult to injury how about this for incompetence....

I opened my device manager looking for bluetooth , nothing at all, this is after installing my Samsung acer phone[activated] still nothing, network discovery on.

Now i noticed this;....' microsoft wifi mini port adapter' so i looked at it, thinking it maybe something to do with wifi, then i pressed update...and guess what Microsoft said it did not know who the manufacturer was of this device..yet when i looked at the details

it said' manufactured and signed by Microsoft' how about that for downright incompetence...

I hate all windows products, every single one from xp, vista and windows 7 are flawed to ****.

And if you ask Microsoft for help this is what you get sent to web pages were experts want money for repairng your 'brand new laptop' or to forums which are no better than useless to people who are no computer literate.

One final thing, did you know the only 100% unversal fix for error 651 is this..a fake copy of

windows 7 installed in Hong Kong!...

On my new Samsung laptop i can only use wifi since it will not connect to broadband, i have tried 23 different fixes and numerous programs all which have failed.

Now when i got broadband installed i tried my old Laptop which i tried to get returned to manufacturer condition in Hong Kong..but the guy put in a fake windows 7..and you may not believe it but it connects perfectly to broadband and wifi, with absolutely no errors at all 651 or the others that always pop up with windows 7.In fact i tested the download speed of both fake and genuine on wifi and the fake beat the original by a proverbial mile..how can this be?

I come home spend a fortune on a new laptop and genuine windows 7 and it can be beaten, and be less reliable than a fake Hong Kong one!...to **** with Microsoft...That **** gates swans about the world spending his money so he can be looked upon A as a 'nice humanitarian guy' while his damned customers are royally cheated and crewed...

So here i am with no choice but to use fake windows in my old laptop, which has genuine vista in it for broadband..and cannot connect with a new laptop because windows 7 like all those that came before it is ****.
