It looks like someone sent you a bunch of pictures - but I wouldn't open them unless I knew the sender. They could be just legitimate pictures or they could be viruses - that's how they are typically transmitted (in attachments). They could be viruses even if from a friend depending and where and how your friend got them. A smart user could have added the pictures to the email without using attachments so you could see them without worrying about attachments (though that would be faster).
If you know the sender, then ask them to include them in the body of the e-mail instead of as attachments. If you don't know the person, I suggest you just delete it.
