    Hello Metropolis007,

What version of Windows are you currently using?

I have been researching on Eidos.com and it appears that Imperial Glory is not compatible with Windows Vista / 7. I also have been unable to find anything on the Windows 7 / Vista Compatibility Website.

If you are on Vista / 7, try using compatibility mode to determine is the resolves your issue. If this does not help, I would suggest that you visit eidos.com and utilize the forums and possible additional support channels that they offer for the particular game.

    Hope this helps

Maybe it's too late, but still. As Chris H. pointed out, try setting Compatibility for Windows XP, it helped me.

    Hi Ashish,

i've tried reinstalling the game and didn't work but when i first installed the game it was running ok for a while, then a few times the "Stopped Working" came up. After March i stopped playing it because of the "Stopped Working" now i got back into it now it's still showing the "Stopped Working". Right now it only shows up when i complete a level or mission while loading back the map of the game (like Risk the game board). So far it only happens when loading after the level or mission is over.

I've been facing this issue since i've installed the game a few times i got lucky i had long hour game play without "Stopped Working". Then it started to happen so i stopped playing the game.

I haven't made any changes with my computer only hardware and software updates. i've installed a few programs, but nothing serious that effects my computer. I only installed like Party Poker, Spybot - Search & Destroy, Mega Manager (Mega Video) and others that doesn't harm my pc.

I'll try your Methods at first, but the second Method i dont' think it will work. Cause i tried that for Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which i had a small problem with the PunkBuster Anti-Cheat thing when i join a server i get automatically kicked, i tried diffrent servers and i get the same message. Then i followed directions from the internet (forums) to delete a few files. Which didn't work so i reinstalled the game and didnt' do anything. So then i deleted another file to see if it would work. It was the same file name but the end had a diffrent letter. Then i notice i deleted my saved profile even my online profile was gone. So i was ferious when i had to start all over to get back to the level i was at.

After that i tried the System Restore didn't work had the same PunkBuster Anti-Cheat. Then i did the reinstalling the game it made it worse so i gave up trying to figure out why it was doing this to me with the PunkBuster Anti Cheat. So now i can't play COD4 on my PC, because it doesn't work properly any more it will crash or kick me out when i have the latest update of the PunkBuster Anti-Cheat.

Then i found another answer trying to use headphones which worked. I was so mad that my online profile was gone i had to start all over because of the sound problem. Now my game crashes because of the "Stopped Working". So i gave up on the game and moved on. I might come back to it later. Before the PunkBuster Anti-Cheat problem. I was able to play long hours and that problem never showed up until one day.

So i'll try Method 1 first and let you know what happen.

    Thanks for Your Help Ashish.

    Alan
