Screensaver--sleep mode--power settings?

I was running a defrag program and if I have the screensaver active---when I come back to the computer--the screen says it is locked.

Also I don't see hard drive power off settings like in XP. I just see "Sleep mode".  Is there a power setting for the hard drives?

Open up Power Options in the Control Panel. Then click "Change Plan Settings" for your selected plan. There will then be an option to "Change Advanced Power Settings". The power settings for the hard drive should be there.
