Hi,

1.      What exactly do you mean by burn a music CD from an e-mail?

2.      Have you received any music in e-mail?

3.      Are you trying to burn that music in CD?

If you have received any music in e-mail and you are trying to burn it in a CD, then I would suggest you to save the music on the hard drive from e-mail and then try burning it in a CD.

    Hi Mary...

This is about setting defaults - MS are pushing Groove in W10 but IMHO it isn't yet a match for WMP... You need to go to 'Control Panel' Programs - Set Your Default Programs... wait for the programs to appear then scroll down the LH pane to Windows Media Player and click on it (marked in yellow in the snip below) - then click on the 'set' bit (also highlighted) on the right... Hope this helps you get your files back where you can burn them! - Ric.

I already got this problem resolved.  I saved the email to desktop.  I already had the Media Player icon on one of my task bars and I just dragged the file and clicked on Media Player and it worked.  Very easy when someone else tells you what to do.  I am not very tech savvy but I get one all that I want to do on the internet.  Thanks so much for you help!  Have a good day!  Mary

    Hi,

Each week I receive a lecture series.  There is an mp3 icon attached which opens to Media Player.  I can burn a CD there. However, I just switched over to Microsoft 10 this week and I can't get it to play in Media Player--it switches to music Grooves.  It plays there but there is no mechanism to "burn" a CD.  As you can see I  may be an older person but I am not too savvy with the computer.  I get what I want I am not interested in all the bells and whistles.  Thanks for your help.
