Besides the button at the right end of the taskbar, you can use the keyboard shortcut WinKey+D.

There is Windows Peek, the far right side of the taskbar. Looks like a little rectangle. Hover over that to see the desktop, click it to go to the desktop.

If you REALLY like the old QuickLaunch and shortcut there, http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/01/14/how-to-enable-or-disable-quick-launch-bar-toolbar-in-windows-7/

    Hello KELLYAMATT,

In addition to the keyboard shortcut that was offered by Jay Freedman, you can also use Winkey+M. The difference between the two is that WinKey+M Minimizing all the currents windows, where WinKey+D toggles showing the Desktop. You should take a little time and review the various keyboard shortcuts that are available.

    Hope this helps

    Hi!

The asker asked for a "command", which I'm also interested in. I want to run a command to show desktop. And not click buttons or press hotkeys.

Do you happen to know the command(s) I can use?
