    Hi,

    a. Do you get any error message or error code when using it on skype?

    b. Did it ever work successfully on skype? If yes, did you make any software changes recently?

    c. Is this device working successfully on other programs and messengers?

    d. Which version of Skype are you using?

    Method 1.

Skype 4.1 is certified as being compatible with Windows 7. If you don't already have the latest version, you should download it from  the link below.

    Method 2.

What you can do is uninstall and reinstall the drivers for this device.

    1. Go to Start and right-click on Computer and select Properties. This will bring the Computer properties window.
    2. On the left sidebar select Device Manager.
    3. Then locate the webcam and right click on it and click uninstall.
    4. Restart the computer
    5. Go to Start and right-click on Computer and select Properties. This will bring the Computer properties window.
    6. On the left sidebar select Device Manager.
    7. Then locate the webcam and right click on it and click  right click webcam's name and finally click Update Driver Software

    4.  You have two options here, click the option that reads "search automatically for updated driver software".

I would also advise you to check the internal settings in skype for camera setup. Here is the link for Skype support.

    Hope this helps.
