I recently upgraded to a Bell system with Windows7.  Unfortunately I cannot get my loading disc for my hp psc 1310 all-in-one printer to load.  I keep getting the warning that I don't have "administrator rights" and the system won't load.  I tried to download installation fromn online but unsuccessful.   How can I get around this problem?

    Go to http://www.HP.com/

Click the "Support and Drivers" link at the top of the page

Select the option to download software and drivers

Enter your model number (1310 psc) in the box for your hardware type or name

Select your operating system and type

If HP has drivers they will be here.

Once you download the file, right-click it and select "Run as Administrator".  That should resolve your issues.

Even though you probably are an Administrator user, in Vista and Windows 7 Administrators run with only Standard User privileges (by design), and that is why you need to elevate the privileges of your Administrative user by selecting the "Run As Administrator" option.

Sometimes even in this day and age, anti virus software (and other security software) can also interfere with installation of programs.  It may be necessary to disable it temporarily.
