    hi,

Please go to control panel -> hardware and sound -> sound

In the playback tab ,  Please enable and set your laptop speakers as the default device

If that did not solve the problem , Visit these links

    Hi Danow,

    1. When was the last time it was working fine?

    2. Have you made any changes on the computer?

    3. What happens when you play a music file?

The sound device might not have been set properly.

1.Verify that the default sound device is set correctly

    1. Click Start type Sound in the Start Search box.
    2. Click Sound in the search results at the top of the Start menu.
    3. Click the Playback tab. Notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is Speakers. If you are using speakers as your sound device and speakers are already set as your default device, go to method 5 now.
    4. Select the sound device that you want as the default sound device, and then click Set Default.
    5. Click the Properties button, then select the Levels tab, and make sure that the volume is at 100 and not Muted.
    6. Click OK to save your settings and to close the Sound dialog box.

    2. Reload the current sound driver

    1. Click Start type Device Manager in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

In the Device Manager dialog box, expand Sound, video, and game controllers.

Locate the audio device that was included with the computer.

    2. Right-click the device, and then click Properties.

Click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall.

Make sure that the Delete the Driver Software for this device check box is cleared, and then click OK.

In the Device Manager dialog box, click the Action menu, and then click Scan for hardware changes. You receive a message that states that a hardware device is being installed, and then the uninstalled audio device appears in Device Manager.

Close the Device Manager dialog box.

    3. Let us also make sure your Audio Drivers are up to date:

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
    2. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue. 3. Click Sound, video, and game controllers to expand.

Under Sound, video, and game controllers, double-click the entry for your sound card, and then click the Driver tab.

Note If a Driver tab is not present, the entry that you clicked under Sound, video, and game controllers may not be the correct entry for your sound card. Try clicking any additional entries listed under Sound, video, and game controllers. 4. Click Update Driver Software. 5. Follow the Update Driver Software Wizard to update the sound card driver.
