How to setup an E-Mail account on windows 7?

Original Title: e-mail account

I have just purchased a windows7 and am trying to set up my established e-mail account, had windows XP before, can you assist.

    Hi,

    Windows 7 does not come with a default email client.

    However, you can install an e‑mail program-Windows Live Mail (If you don’t have any other email client on your computer) —a free program that is part of Windows Live Essentials. Windows Live Mail works with most e‑mail accounts.

    my windows 7 live mail stopped sending I was told to delete and re-install but all most given up trying to re-install live mail replacement Jw

    As far as I know I have my E- Mail set up in Windows live and on Yahoo.com. When I try to  test send a photo to my addres, nothing goes through, I am LOST, Any opinion out there  ?
