    Hi bfbb,

    Lite-ONSHW-1635SU DVD/CD is a Plug and Play device. There is no need to install the drivers for it.

    Here’s the information for it. The drivers need to be installed only for the Windows 98 version of Operating system.

    If the drive is not getting detected by Windows, run the Fix it tool from the link given below:

    Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
