Hi,

Does Microsoft Visio and/or Microsoft Visio Processional 2016 have the capability to simulate BPMN 2.0 business process models so to evaluate as-is and to-be/what-if scenarios based on data setup, where you can do scenerio planning to evaluate different outcomes based on changing the business process model.

This would be similar to running process simulations in tools such as Bizagi Business Process Modeler or Business Optix.

Very best wishes

    @Bakshi, Debasis

    As far as I know, currently there may be no such functionality in Visio.
    You may need to install an add-in.
    If you have any suggestions or feedback when using Visio, you could post on the Visio UserVoice forum.
    This is a forum Microsoft specially uses to collect feedback from users.
    Hope the information could be helpful to you.

    Hi erinding-msft ,

    Thank you so much for your answer and the time taken to respond.

    That is useful to know that there is currently no such functionality. Would you know what add-in I might need to install or where would be the places one would go to find add-ins to run simulations for BPMN Processes on MS Visio?

    I'll also look to make a post in the Viso User Voice forum on the topic.

    Thank you
