Hi,

please sure, that the Service ReadyBoost is running!

Next try to speed up the boot with the help of my guide [1].

If this doesn't speed up the boot process, follow my guide [2] to make a boot trace and compress the boot_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1.etl as 7z or RAR and upload it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

I take a look at the trace, maybe I see what's wrong with your Windows.

regards

André

    Hi,

Check if the issue persists in safe mode (Step 1). If the issue does not persist in safe mode then, perform clean boot (Step 2) on your computer.

    **Step 1:**1. Restart the computer

    1. Start tapping F8 key
    2. You will get advanced boot option window
    3. Select the option “Safe mode”

    Link:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

Starting your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. This kind of startup is known as a "Clean boot."

Follow the steps provide in the below article to perform clean boot. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: To return your computer to a Normal startup mode, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start in the Start Search box.
    2. Type msconfig, and then press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.

    1. On the General tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services, and then click OK.
    2. When you are prompted, click Restart.

Step 3: You may also try performing system restore as the issue has started recently.

    Refer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-System-Restore

    Hope this helps.
