How to transfer files from DVD to PC

i have some dvds that i burned,and would like to put them on my computer,how do i go about doing this

    i have some dvds that i burned,and would like to put them on my computer,how do i go about doing this

    If you burned the DVDs there is no copy protection so you

    can just copy/paste the contents to a folder on your hard drive.

    Place the DVD in your DVD drive and go to...Start / Computer...

    Right click the drive letter for the DVD drive and choose...Explore.

    If it's a Data DVD...just copy the files you want.

    If it's a Video DVD...copy the VIDEO_TS folder.

    If you have the freeware VLC Media Player you can right click

    a VIDEO_TS folder and choose...'Play with VLC Media player'

    (FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System

    Restore point before installing software or updates)

    my system recently changed to window 10

    And if you want to use Media Player to play them you need to rename the

    extension from .vob to .avi. Media Play is hard coded to not play vob files.
