Original Title: Buttons reversed

My left button will not select the desired item when clicked.  The right button is doing what my left button should be doing when click.  How do I reverse them?

Look in Windows Control Panel | Mouse to see the settings.

    Hi garymcolesr,

As Suzanne S. Barnhill MVP has suggested you can check the mouse settings as mentioned by her.

To change how the mouse buttons work

    a.    Open Mouse Properties by clicking the  Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type mouse, and then click Mouse.

    b.    Click the  Buttons tab, and then do the following:

To swap the functions of the right and left mouse buttons, under Button configuration, uncheck the box for “Switch primary and secondary buttons”.

    c.    Click OK.

This will switch the primary button function to the left button of the mouse.

I have solved the issue. Its caused because the Windows Configuration makes conflict with the Touchpanel, I just unmarked the reverse buttons in the Touchpad control panel and also in the Windows Mouse configuration.

I also have the same problem. I have a HP Elitebook 820 G1 and an Elitepad 900, but when I connect the Wedge Bluethoot mouse it has the left and right buttons switched; i tried settings and adjust buttons but it appears to be a driver problem. Can you help me?

Seriously, after searching online for days without a legitimate answer I finally found this and it helped. I went right into my settings and found that my primary mouse button was the right and not the left. So, THANK YOU!!!! Having my mouse buttons reversed was driving me insane. :)
