My apologies for also being a little 'snarky' perhaps. And thanks for the reminder that we need to exercise due patience with new computer users. Since you cannot see the menu bar right now, with Firefox open, press the ALT key on your keyboard (left or right of the space bar), that will temporarily show the menu bar. Now to make it stay there without having to press the Alt key each time, click the View tab at the top, hover over Toolbars and when the pop-out menu appears make sure there is a check mark next to Menu Bar.

Sorry again, and please don't let our impatience keep you from asking any further questions you might have. :)

Art: Pardon my vagueness... it is the toolbar at the top of my browser's window - Mozilla Firefox. iIts the toobar at the tippy top that says 'file edit view history bookmarks tools help'. I pressed 'view' and was exploring options there when I clicked something that made it all go away. So far I can't figure out how to get this back.

The Windows toolbar as you see in Windows Explorer, or the IE toolbar you see in Internet Explorer?

    • If it's the Menu Bar in Windows Explorer, press F11.
    • If it's the Menu Bar in Internet Explorer, right click on a blank spot of whatever toolbar is showing and recheck the Menu Bar.
    • If it's the entire toolbar in IE, press F11.

What did you do to make it disappear? I have to assume you mean the Firefox toolbar since you

mention 'bookmark'... because Windows Explorer & Internet Explorer use 'favorites' not bookmarks,

and not Google Chrome since it does not have such a toolbar. That said, I don't think the Firefox toolbar can be removed, so you really need to supply sufficient information if you really want a solution.

What toolbar are you asking about? In what program?
