Stop VPN connection from Windows 7 start-up

I have a small home network.  On my Windows 7 PC, my office VPN connection seems to start up before my network adapter connects to my router.  Besides deleting the VPN connection, how can I "permanently" have Windows 7 not use the VPN connection?

Check the Connections Tab in Internet Options.  It should be set to Never dial a connection.

The VPN connection is not in any Start up.  What is happening, my Windows 7 is finding the VPN connection before attempting my network adapter.

    Hi

Windows 7 by Default does not start any VPN Connection.

Look at the StartUP folder and the Services and find out if there is  something VPN related that was set to load at startup.
