Hi Andre

My minidumps from 24/10 to 30/10. They all occur while running games such as World of Warcraft and Everquest2.

https://cid-f306be303cbe110a.skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?resid=F306BE303CBE110A!105

I have looked at Bluescreenview and Eventviewer, but not sure what to do now as I have checked Device Manager (all ok) and updated most of my drivers. The only thing I have not yet done is run a memtest as it would not run from my USB when I rebooted (changed the boot device to options like FDD and USB - at least all the obvious ones).

My system spec is as follows, if it helps:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit version

Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600

System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

System Model GA-870A-UD3

Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor, 3200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. F2, 07/06/2010

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB

Total Physical Memory 4.00 GB

Available Physical Memory 2.87 GB

Total Virtual Memory 7.99 GB

Available Virtual Memory 6.26 GB

Page File Space 4.00 GB

Adapter Description ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series - 5770 1 Gb to be precise

Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\atikmpag.sys (8.14.1.6143, 272.50 KB (279,040 bytes), 26/08/2010 02:20)

Any advice is appreciated.

You get so many different crashes with this error code. You should check your RAM.

Hi, sorry about that, fixed and on Skydrive. The zip are the files from C:\Windows\Minidump. Fyi, I have gone to the Realtek website and upgraded the drivers for the high definition audio driver. I did get 1 more crash since then, which was the NTFS file system one.

Permission is now set to Everyone. Also yesterday the BSOD appeared while downloading DragonAge Origins Ultimate Edition and while playing it after, so it is not strictly limited to while I play games. Also, if it is useful, I have DirectX11, do I need/can I use 9c as well?

...after checking help pages for Dragon Age I decided to go direct to the AMD website and check the latest driver version for the HD5770, and found that I was running 8.771, whereas the latest is 8.782. I downloaded and installed this and now just have to see if that has had any effect.

I must now remember not to rely on the Update Driver Software option in Windows 7 Device Manager. I will go and check the rest of the drivers at the manufacturers website now.
