Use U-lead Video Studio 10 program with Windows 7.

I have loaded the U-lead Videostudio 10 program on my Pc . But it seems not to be compatible with Windows 7. Cannot acitivate the music on this program an cannot burn on a DVD form this program. Message is : unidentified external error.

How can i solve the problem ?

    I installed VideoStudio 10 on my Windows 7 (64bit) machine without any problems. The program runs fine but when I go to the "create disc" pop-up screen the buttons that are supposed to be at the bottom of the screen are not visible. Without these buttons it is impossible to create a disc. I checked Corel's website and could not find reference to VideoStudio 10 or any updates/fixes.

    Also, VideoStudio works without any issues on Windows Vista (64bit).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Hansie Brenkman,

    Have you downloaded the service pack for U-lead VideoStudio 10 from the Corel website? If not, clickhere for a link to the service Pack. You may need to check and see if this

    Service pack is only for Windows Vista or for Windows 7 also.

    I have seen several posts in this forums and others with the exact same error message and no sound. But I have not found a solution.

    These are the only two VideoStudio versions that are shown to be compatible with Windows 7.

    • VideoStudio Express 2010
    • VideoStudio Pro X3

    I suggest you contact Corel for assistance with this error message for VideoStudio 10.
