Original Title: Windows Media Center and Netflix.

I have windows media center, and on it there is a netflix section so i can rent movies. i already have a netflix account; however i cannot log onto my account on there because wheneve i click "login" the computer says "your computerr clock is set to an invalid date and time, or it is not adjusted correctly for Daylight Savings Time. Update your clock settings and try again." I dont know what to do or where to go because whenever i change the settings it continues to say the same thing. What do i do to get it to work?

Hi russellsineni,

Are you able to change the computer time correctly?

If the issue is only with Netflix not working with Windows Media Center, you may contact Netflix support for assistance.

Hope the information helps. Please post back and let us know.

In my case time zone was correct, but to fix this I had to enable the "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time" in the same configuration Window.  At some point I think I accidentally disabled it which then caused netflix mce app to stop working.

it's very sad to think that this was an answer from someone who's supposed to be an authority. It's really about time for someone to redesign this stale app. sorry for my tone but after many years of loyalty to MS i'm starting to be fed up for stuff that only kinda works.

    I had the same problem.

I realized that my windows clock was set to the wrong time zone. netflix must compare time and location (probably a licensing thing). Anyway, I fixed the timezone in my clock settings (and then had to adjust the time back to the correct time) and the problem went away.

hope it works for you too, or at the very least gives you another clue to resolving your issue.
