I'm looking for an easy way to remove the popup from my dad's computer. I figure there's a short delete script that I can run from the command prompt. Thanks for any help.

Uninstall the expired Norton program that is installed and then the pop-ups will stop.

    One intermediate step is needed:

After Norton is uninstalled using Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs AND before a new AV program is installed, one should run the Norton Removal Tool, which is available from this web page:

    Hi Roc100,

Sorry for the trouble. May I know the name of the Norton program you had in the PC? Also, may I know if you have ran the Norton Removal Tool here: www.norton.com/nrt? Let me know what happens.

    Thanks!

After you've uninstalled Norton, make sure you install a new antivirus, don't leave the system unprotected.
