Where is Remote Desktop Connection version 7.0??

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise and my version of the file MSTSC.EXE shows 6.1.7600.16385. All of the documentation I read indicates that Windows 7 shipped with RDC version 7.0, and this is a fresh install, so I'm not sure what's up. I am trying to get WebSSO to work and cannot, now I think it's because I don't have RDC 7.0. Can anyone enlighten me? All of the downloads I find are for XP, or Vista, and they fail on windows 7.

Thanks,

Windows 7 Ultimate 32, my version is the same as yours, and says RDP 7 is supported.

That's Remote Desktop Protocol 7 not Remote Desktop Client. Windows 7 includes the latest Remote Desktop client software.

I really don't think this question has been answered. I believe his, and my, question is where can we obtain RDC 7.0 for Windows 7? If RDC 7.0 is supported by Windows 7 then why does it bark when you try to install it complaining that the OS is the wrong version? Please provide a link to where we can download RDC 7.0 that has been proven to install to Windows 7. I have Windows 7 Enterprise and I can not find an RDC 7.0 that will install after looking for hours.

    Thanks,

    dave
