Windows 7 Blue screen error c000021a with a status of 0x001003a8

I've been runing Windows 7 months on my laptop.  Now it won't boot and I get a blue screen with the classic:

STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}

The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000001 0x001003a8)  The system has been shut down.

I haven't changed the system setup or added new hardware.  Any ideas???
