Removing entry from Windows Firewall allowed programs

There are 7 entries of a program I uninstalled still listed in the allowed programs of Windows Firewall.  I unchecked them, but am unable to remove them as the remove button is grayed out.  How do I do this?

Thanks

    Hi

If you uninstalled the program and uncheck the allowed, leave it alone it is just "cosmetic".

I like nice "cosmetics" too, but there is a limit to what is worth to do for it.

You can try one more route (but be very careful).

Do Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Windows Firewall Advanced, and see if you can get rid of it using the Advanced Firewall rules' interface.

Go to windows firewall advanced settings

on the left panel click on inbound rules, scroll down until you find the unwanted app, then on the right panel click delete.

next click on outbound rules scroll down until you see the unwanted apps, look to the right side panel and click delete.

now you are done, you could follow up with doing a defrag and reboot, but not necessary.

The remove button stays grayed out and non functional.  Is there some way to run this as admin that I cannot seem to find that would enable the remove button?  I open Control panel/ Windows firewall and then in the upper left "allow a program or feature through Windows firewall."

    Thanks

Thank you both for the reply's.  The only way to check and uncheck the boxes is to click on that button which I have already done so I could uncheck and recheck the entry's suggested by Jack.  When I do click on this button, I do not get a UAC prompt for some reason.
