    You should be able to open the network connection's properties and delete the key.

    Hi

    Look at the Wireless Manager and edit the entry for the SSID in question to Not remember the password.

    Do, Control Panel, Network and Sharing Center. Upper left side click on Manage Wireless networks.

    Then, Logon from the Wireless Tray Bar Icon, it will prompt for the password.

    I need to keep the connection for later use. It's just that anyone can use the wifi on the computer because the security key is always there. So I want a way to 'forget' the security key, and put the password in every time I want to use wifi.

    Can't you simply delete the connection?

    I've tried that and then comes a pop-up saying that the netwok key I entered was not valid.
