Yes, ipv6 is enabled for my Internet connection

edit: I now have enabled ipv6, and my HomeGroup works again!

edit2: I used the fixit solution to enable ipv6, found on this page:

I DL'ed and installed both the 'Re-enable IPv6' and the 'Re-enable IPv6 on all tunnel interfaces' fix it programs. They both did not work. I restarted my comp on both, and it didn't work. Before I started this, I enabled IPv6 in my router, then I set it in the Auto-Config option in me Netgear router and a big NOTHING happened.

Will my internet speed be any faster if I enable IPv6? Or am i pulling my hair out for nothing?

So far, when I do a speed test, the dl clocks in @ 60mbps and the ul is 5mbps.

I know to some that's pretty fast, But I remember around last year, it used to clock in @ 80-90mbps,. IDK what else I can do to enable IPv6. I've tried everything, even, checked that 'DisabledComponents' is set to 0 in the

    TCPIP6 > Parameters part of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Services.

    Can anyone pls help?

    Thanks.

When explicitly following the above directions, no box appears to allow IPV6 or V4.. Downloading the MS fixit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852 did not enable IPV6 on Win 7.
