wireless keyboard 700 v2.0

I need the software for a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2.0 set.

The product page has no sofwtare link on it and I can not find any download link for the software on Microsoft's Support pages.

My main problem is that there are no Capslock and Numlock lights on the keyboard, which is very inconvenient when entering passwords. There is no indication on screen about these keys´ status.

I downloaded Intellitype 8.0 and get a message stating tha no USB keyboard was detected. The mouse is detected.

I´m using Windows 7, 64-bit.

    Hi,

My Keyboard will show the Status of the CAPS and NUM lock on the transceiver and the status also

flashes on sceen when those are toggled however it is not a static display. The set I have is not the

    one you are using however.

Possibly there are some 3rd party applications that display those on the screen.

@ Cyberlost, I had the same problem, and seem to have found the answer.

I have a Win-7 64bit system at home. I tried installing Intellitype Pro 8.0 and it wouldn't work. So, I uninstalled Intellitype Pro 8.0 and Installed Intellitype Pro 7.0 for 43 Bit system. Google it, you will find the download link from the Microsoft website. Intellitype Pro 7.0 lets you select the type of Keyboard. Unfortunately 700 v2 is not listed. I chose Wireless Keyboard 1000 and installed the software. It works perfectly fine for me :).

    Hope this helps.

This does not solve my problem.

The keyboard works OK. The problem is that the keyboard does not have Capslock and Numlock status lights, which is very inconvenient, specially when entering passwords. Some applications sense the status of the Capslock and Numlock keys and display it at the bottom of the screen, but this is gone when I exit those applications.

I am looking for some software that will display the status of the Capslock and Numlock keys on the screen at all times. I suppose that Microsoft, being the manufacturer of the keyboard should have taken this into account and should be able to supply some driver/software that corrects this significant shortcomming.

    Hi,

On the bottom of the Keyboard is there a little button that needs to be pushed to sync it with the transceiver? Be sure the batteries are fresh.
