    Machine Debug Manager (mdm.exe) is brought to you compliments of Internet Explorer and/or certain Office versions.

    Disable Internet Explorer Script Debugging as explained here:

    Hi,

    The Machine Debug Manager, Mdm.exe, is a program that is installed with the Microsoft Script Editor to provide support for program debugging.

    Apart from the suggestions provided by Gina Whipp and John John, you can disable Machine Debug Manager on the Windows XP. Follow the steps mentioned in the article given below.
