No. Either switch to 32-bit Windows 7 or get a new scanner.
Canon's CanoScan LiDE 20 64 bit drivers.
I have Canon's CanoScan LiDE 20 scanner, which i am unable to use since i have upgraded my system from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Windows 7. Is there a solution to this Problem, as canon dose not provide us with 64 bit drivers for this scanner.

2011-10-17T20:16:36+00:00 Canon doesn't need this scanner any more. It hopes you buy a new one, because they need their quarter growth.
But I can't imagine why should I buy a new one. This scanner works properly on Linux and I can make it work even OS X 10.6 too!
This is a sick world!

2013-01-18T18:54:39+00:00 Well, I bought VueScan x64 on-line. It works great with my LiDE 20 and Windows 7 and 8 (both 64 bit). There's two versions, the pro costs $80 and the regular $40. Certainly this is less of an expense than buying a new scanner. I actually can't believe the quality of the photo copies.

2013-01-17T14:44:01+00:00 Well, I am having the same difficulties i.e. Windows 7 64 bit and Windows 8 drivers for the Canoscan LiDE 20. One option not mentioned would be keep the scanner and buy an apple computer that would be compatible with it. That way Microshaft would be out of the picture.
