Here are a couple of other things you could try.

    How do I Remove opendns

    http://www.seo-strategies.org/2009/05/how-do-i-remove-opendns/

How to repair the operating system and how to restore the operating system configuration to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista (or 7)

I have opendns (uninvited) but not where you would expect, like in windows explorer, or add-on. It is somehow embedded in my own wifi hotspot (Lumia phone) from there it is blocking my desktop and other lumia phones, whilst on the wifi.

I believe I may have picked it up using the Lumia phone at a public wifi hotspot at Bankstown NSW.

This is not the first time, previous I had it on my android hotspot, that time I reset the operating system, I dont want to do same this time, yet.

Has anyone the same, and who work out how to it, Also other names are popping up, such as scansafe and cisco ( I believe cisco may own both opendns and scansafe )

You could also try using CCleaner, its a good clean up utility that can remove programs that should not be there,

    Or MalwareBytes is another.
