USB modem device has been disconnected or is unavailable

I am using 3 LSI USB 2.0 soft modems connected via a usb hub on a pc running Windows 7. After some hours of work, all 3 modems become unavailable ("device has been disconnected or is unavailable" on device manager). The modems are mapped through 3 virtual com ports which are opened by a caller ID software. Did not find any useful info in event log.

Thank you in advance

    Hi,

    • Are other USB devices working properly?

I would suggest to Bypass the USB hub and connect one of the modem directly to the USB port and check if it works.
