Follow these methods and check which one of it helps you to fix the issue.
**Method 1:**Try to un-register and register the msxml6.dll file and check if this helps.
Step 1: To unregister the file, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories and then right-clickCommand Prompt.
b. Click Run as administrator. If you are prompted with a logon, enter the Administrator credentials. Otherwise, click Continue to authorize the action.
c. Within the Command Prompt, type “regsvr32 -u msxml6. dll” and press Enter.
Note: Type the command without including the double quotes to execute the command.
Step 2: To register the file, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories and then right-clickCommand Prompt.
b. Click Run as administrator. If you are prompted with a logon, enter the Administrator credentials. Otherwise, click Continue to authorize the action.
c. Within the Command Prompt, type “regsvr32 msxml6.dll”and press Enter.

**Method 2:**Perform System File Checker (SFC) scan on your computer to fix this issue.
SFC scans and verifies the versions of all protected system files after you restart your computer.
