Hello guys,

could someone please tell me what to  do when the inbuilt camera in my laptop is upside down? For example if you go to skype and try to have a video chat, your face is upside down (180°).

I tried to fix it in "control panels" but I didnt find any way how to fix this problem.

Is there anyone who knows how to do this?

Thank you very much for your help ;)!!

The settings you want are within the Skype Options (or other apps that use the webcam). Go to Tools-Options and pick the Video settings section. Click on "Webcam settings" and look for the "Image Mirror" check boxes (likely in the Advanced section). Either select or deselect "Mirror Vertical", whichever gets you right-side up.

If your running win 7/64 bit go to life frame (webcam) at the bottom of your screen you will see a spanner sign.

right click on it (lightly) it will say - restore default / and underneath advanced settings.

Click on advanced, video top right then advanced setting bottom right.

Then setting top right, (okay so far) Now click on camera device list right click this.

Then see your webcam / device in list and click on it.

Then, when window opens you will see at top centre ( IMAGE FLIP) CLICK IT wait a few seconds and presto all should be

    okay.

good luck and regards *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
