Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Keyboard

I attached a MS Comfort Curve 2000 Keyboard to a new windows 7 computer.  Each time I log off and on or some else logs on the driver is reinstalled for the keyboard and if you are not an administrator it requests an admin rights to log on to complete the installation.  This has happened on multiple computers and with multiple ms comfort curve 2000 keyboards.

Is there a fix for this?

I already tried that and I still get the request for administator to log in to load the driver for the hardware and it is now asking for the usb ms optical mouse.  I installed IntelliPoint 8.01 32-bit for Windows 7.
