How Do I add a custom paper size?

I have tried following all previous instructions for adding a custom paper size in Windows 7, but none of them work for me. All of them say I need to select "Printer Server Preferences" but that does not appear when I right click on my printer. Only "Printer Properties" and "Printing Preferences" are the closest I have.

PLEASE someone help.

I have an HP Officejet 6500A Plus.

I followed your instructions, but I do not see anything that says "Creating a Custom Paper Size". I am trying to print a 5.5 x 5.5 invitation.

    Hi,

What is the make and model of your printer?

You may follow these steps to select a predefined paper size:

    a. Open devices and printers.

    b. Right click on printer and "Select Printing Preferences." The "Printing Preferences" screen will appear.

    f. The "Printing Preferences" screen has five tabs; click on the "Paper/Quality" tab.

    g. In the "Paper Options" section there is a drop-down box labeled "Size Is." Select the desired paper size and click "OK." If none of the paper sizes in the drop-down box is suitable for your needs, proceed to the "Creating a Custom Paper Size" section; otherwise, this completes the process.
