To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

    Once saved, run the tool.

Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.

To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

The report will give the license type, and we can make an (highly) educated guess as to hether it's genjuine or not here.

If you want details then post the report to the Win XP Genuine forum here....

    http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindowsxp/threads

You have a Geo-Blocked Volume License Key installed on a (very old) Dell computer - for what version and edition of Windows is this computer licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

If the COA sticker is for Windows XP Pro, then try changing the Key ...

Use the Product Key Update Tool - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/help/genuine/product-key to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker, then reboot and  post a new MGADiag report so we can confirm that everything went OK
