Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't know where they had hidden that functionality in the latest version of Pain (Win7).
Just to clarify, you can do this only on a selection - e.g., select all (ctrl-A) and then right-click and select Invert colors (as opposed to Invert Selection which simply selects what was previously unselected and vice versa). You can also apply it to a portion of the drawing by selecting only that portion & right-click --> Invert colors

2016-03-06T21:42:45+00:00 This is what I have used in the past on an older version of Paint. My new Paint does not have image/ invert colours as far as I can tell. There is select image/invert selection which does something different.
I have found all the older versions of Paint, photo-shop, office etc. far more useful than the newer versions. If it aint broke then they go ahead and break it for us anyway. I wonder why I bother with computers when pen and ink are so much simpler and more accurate too.
