When I click Voice Test on the Voice tab, you may receive one of the following error messages: Windows cannot execute DPVSetup.exe, use Add/Remove Programs control panel to install. DirectPlay Voice has encountered an error. The error code is 0x80004005.

I've changed the Audio Hardware Acceleration setting . I've done the registry tweeking and I still get the same error.Is there a download that can fix this problem?

· What is the model of the system and who is the manufacturer?

Method 1:

It seems that you need to update the drivers for the sound card. I would suggest you to update the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check whether the issue is resolved. Check the link mentioned below.

I would suggest you to update DirectX on the system and check whether the issue is resolved. Download DirectX from the link mentioned below and then install it on the system.
