    Hi lenwilliams,

    ·         Have you tried installing the program?

It seems that Autocad r14 is not compatible to be used with Windows 7. I do not find any compatibility information about the same at the Windows 7 Compatibility Center. Check out this link.

Windows 7 Compatibility for autocad r14

If you have already tried installing then uninstall the software completely and try installing it in the Compatibility mode. To install in compatibility mode, follow these steps.

    a.        Right click on the setup file (setup.exe for the software) and select Properties.

    b.       Now click on the Compatibility tab and check the box which says Run this program in compatibility mode for.

    c.        Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Click Apply and OK.

    d.       Now right click the setup file and select Run as Administrator and follow the normal installation procedure. Check to see if you can use the program now.

Refer the below mentioned articles for more information.

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

    What is program compatibility?
